To obtain licensure as a teacher of French (K–12), the candidate must complete the required concentration in French described in the Department of Languages and Literatures section, the Liberal Arts Core requirements, and those courses required by the Education Department for K–12 licensure (see Education section of catalog).

Students who intend to obtain teacher licensure in French are required to include FREN 400 as part of their program requirements.
