ECON 317 - Poverty and Human Capital(3) An examination of the causes and consequences of poverty and the frameworks used to analyze human capital formation. The methods used to measure human well-being are reviewed, along with the evidence-base regarding the impacts of anti-poverty programs. Scope of the course is global, covering examples from both high-income and low-income countries. Prerequisite: ECON 102. Every other year.
