• SPAN 310 - Composition and Introduction to Literature (3)
• SPAN 330 - Survey of Spanish Civilization and Literature (3)
• SPAN 332 - Survey of Spanish-American Civilization and Literature (3)
• SPAN 440 - Advanced Spanish Language and Composition (3)
• SPAN 498 - Senior Seminar in Spanish (3)

III. Other departmental requirements:

Successful completion of SPAN 300  fulfills the oral competency requirement.  Students will demonstrate major and computer competency in SPAN 498  through research plus oral and written presentations in Spanish on aspects of Hispanic cultures. A grade of C or better is required in SPAN 498  to graduate.
