Political Science with Teacher Licensure

I. Required courses in the major—at least 34 hours including:

Additional hours must include one of the following options:

POLS 401 and at least 2 hours in POLS 400 ; or
both POLS 390 and POLS 490 .

II. Required courses outside the major—16–22 hours:

Humanities sequence:

Students who have not received credit for the Humanities sequence must also complete the HIST 152 and HIST 151 .

III. Other departmental requirements:

Senior competency is demonstrated by satisfactory completion of POLS 450 , POLS 460 ; and either POLS 400 or both POLS 390 and POLS 490 . Computer competency and oral competency are satisfied by POLS 460 .
