Anthropology Minor

For students not majoring in Sociology, a minor in Anthropology may be earned by completing the following.

18 hours in Anthropology including:

ANTH 100 - Introduction to Cultural Anthropology (3)
ANTH 225 - Social and Cultural Inquiry (SOC 225) (3)
ANTH 336 - Ethnographic Methods (3)

9 hours of Anthropology electives with at least 6 hours at the 300-400 level

Additional Information:

Students must earn a minimum 2.00 grade-point-average on all minor courses taken at UNC Asheville. One-half of the hours required for a minor must be completed at UNC Asheville, to include at least 6 semester hours of 300-400 level courses.
