4 additional hours of NM studio elective at the 300-400 level

8 hours from one of the following Emphasis areas:

Computer Animation

Interactive Media

NM 320 - Intermediate Interactive Media (4) or
NM 330 - Internet Art (4)
and
NM 420 - Advanced Interactive Media (4)

Video Art and Design

NM 350 - Intermediate Video (4)
NM 450 - Advanced Video (4)

II. Required courses outside of the major—11 hours:

One course from:

MATH 167 - Precalculus (4)
STAT 185 - Introductory Statistics (4)
(This requirement may be fulfilled with a higher level MATH or STAT course.)

One of the following sequences:

PHYS 101 - Light and Visual Phenomena (3) and
PHYS 121 - Light and Visual Phenomena Lab (1)
or
PHYS 102 - The Physics of Sound and Music (3) and
PHYS 122 - The Physics of Sound and Music Lab (1)

III. Other departmental requirements:

Major competency is demonstrated in NM 490. The course must be completed with a grade of C or higher.
