Art Licensure (K-12)

I. Required courses in Education—26 hours, including:

• EDUC 210 - Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century, K-12 (3)
• EDUC 211 - Instructional Technology for Educational Settings, K-12 (1)
• EDUC 320 - Middle School Principles, Practices and Materials (3)
• EDUC 346 - Teaching Students with Diverse Needs in the General Education Classroom (3)
• EDUC 380 - Methods and Management in Teaching, 6–12 (4)
• EDUC 455 - Student Teaching and Seminar (8)
• EDUC 456 - The Teacher as a 21st Century Professional, K-12 (4)

II. Required courses outside Education—3 hours, including:

• PSYC 319 - Educational Psychology (3)

  Students must also complete the ART courses required for the major in Art with a concentration in Teacher Licensure.
