Mathematics: Concentration in Mathematical Sciences
Return to: Mathematics Department Programs
The concentration in mathematical sciences prepares students interested in mathematics for a variety of different careers in which mathematics plays an important role. Students who wish to continue with graduate study in mathematics can prepare themselves by taking multiple sequences in different areas of pure and applied mathematics. Students can also pair this concentration with another discipline. By developing expertise in two areas, students will increase their options for future studies and employment after they graduate.
