Professor Butler (Coordinator)

The Law, Ethics, and Social Policy concentration offers an interdisciplinary approach that empowers students to critically examine the complex interplay between law, ethics, and social policy. Through this program, students will explore how legal systems and ethical frameworks can be leveraged to address the needs of disempowered communities. By gaining a deeper understanding of societal inequalities and legal responses, students will be better equipped to advocate for meaningful change. This concentration allows students to draw from diverse disciplines to tailor the curriculum to align with their individual career goals and academic interests. Graduates will be well-prepared for advanced studies or careers in law, government, social services, public service, and advocacy where they can champion justice and equality.

NOTE: Students completing this concentration cannot also complete a minor in Legal Studies.
