I. Required courses in the major—36 hours including:
16 additional hours in Anthropology or Sociology, at least 8 of which must be in Anthropology.
Twelve of the 16 hours must be at the 300-400 level.
II. Required courses outside major—None
STAT 185 is recommended for students wishing to pursue additional quantitative analysis. III. Other departmental requirements:
Completing ANTH 464 with a grade of C or better satisfies the senior demonstration of competency and the oral competency requirements. Note:
Students majoring in Anthropology, who also want to major in Sociology, must complete 24 hours of Sociology courses that are not used to complete requirements for the major in Anthropology, including a separate capstone. Liberal Arts Core (LAC)
