Chemistry Minor

Students minoring in Chemistry must complete the following requirements:

24 hours including:

CHEM 144 - Introductory Quantitative Chemistry (4)
CHEM 145 - Quantitative Chemistry Laboratory (1)
CHEM 234 - Structure and Reactivity of Organic Molecules (4)
CHEM 328 - Elements of Inorganic Chemistry (3)

12 additional hours in chemistry (8 of which must be at the 300 or 400 level)

Additional Information:

One-half of the hours required for a minor must be completed at UNC Asheville. All minors require that a minimum of 6 semester hours of 300-400 level courses be completed at UNC Asheville.
