SPAN 442 - Borderlands (4)

An exploration of topics relating to the concept of borderlands in Spanish-speaking regions. The Americas and Iberian Peninsula are marked by national, regional, geographic, lingual and ethnic boundaries and intersections. This course is designed for advanced Spanish learners, or those with previous background in Spanish. Texts/materials may include cultural production, such as art, film, music and literature, and/or draw on an interdisciplinary approach, including topics related to history, politics, media, etc. See department chair.
