STAT 428 - Data Science II (3)

This capstone course emphasizes the practical application of data science. Students are expected to conduct a comprehensive study using modern data science techniques. In addition to demonstrating technical proficiency, students develop professional communication skills by presenting their findings in a public presentation. Emphasis is placed on clear, accurate interpretation of methods and results, as well as on the ability to convey the broader significance of the work. Prerequisite: STAT 427. Odd years Spring.
