E 101 - Introduction to Engineering and Problem Solving (1)

An introduction to engineering as a discipline and profession. Emphasis on engineering design, interdisciplinary teamwork, and problem solving from a general engineering perspective. There is an overview of academic policies affecting undergraduate engineering students, and exposure to the joint NC State/UNC Engineering programs and services. Permission of instructor required. Fall.
