HIST 315 - North Carolina History (4) An evaluation of North Carolina’s contributions to the nation and the South through the state’s development from its colonial origins to the 21st century. The course offers a particular emphasis on the diverse peoples who have contributed to NC history, the state’s origins as “poor, but proud,” and the interplay of conservative and progressive forces in the state’s political and cultural history.
