A political, social, and cultural study of Europe from the turn of the century through the end of the Second World War. Topics include modernism, the First and Second World Wars, the collapse of overseas empires, Fascism, Socialism, and the Holocaust. Emphasis is placed in Europe’s connection to the globe.
