HIST 392 - Global Revolutions (4)

Peace–Land–Bread! Liberty–Equality–Fraternity! Such have been the demands of revolutionaries across the globe since the French Revolution of 1789. This course will analyze the revolutionary scripts from 1789 that influenced revolutions in France, and its former colonies including Vietnam and Algeria, as well as the Atlantic Revolutions in Latin America, Communist Revolutions in Russia and China, and revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia during the Arab Spring of 2011.
