ART 264 - Photography I

Introduces students to film-based black and white photography. Camera operation, darkroom practice, film processing and printing enlargements serve as a vehicle for exploring photography as a means for artistic expression. Assignments build on one another, addressing more and more complex technical and conceptual challenges. Students must provide their own 35 mm film camera. Prerequisites: ART 122, 144. Pre- or corequisite: ART 133. Fall and Spring.
