A structured learning experience that combines community service with preparation and reflection. Students apply the course material in health promotion and diversity to meet the actual health needs of children, teens and seniors from various backgrounds in our community. Experiences include regular university classroom sessions, attendance at cultural events, on-site work in local organizations and project team meetings. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
