(3)Translation and discussion of selections from Virgil’s Georgics and Lucretius’ De Rerum Natura. Course will include background in earlier and later didactic poetry. Prerequisite: CLAS 212 or proficiency demonstrated to the satisfaction of instructor. See department chair.
