Basic competencies in handbuilding: coil, slab, carving, and modeling. This course introduces wheel throwing and various glazing techniques along with different kiln firing processes. All students will learn to fire the electric kiln. Course will include lectures, demonstrations and critiques. Prerequisites: ART 122, 133, 144. Fall and Spring.
