DAN 341 - Teaching Dance

Students will assist in an elementary school classroom where they will act as demonstrators and facilitators of dance. UNC Asheville faculty/student discussions will address teaching techniques, cueing, styles of correction and observations made in the classroom. Students will complete three additional hours of service learning in a community setting. Not part of the teacher licensure program. Prerequisite: DAN 335 or 337 or 338. See department chair.
