INTS 345 - Negotiating Peace: The Practice of Local and Global Peacebuilding

Explores the causes and complexities of contemporary conflict, examining methods that respond to conflict without perpetuating cycles of revenge, hostility, and division. Participants learn through practical, hands-on experience how to identify common bonds and bridge perceptual differences. Reflecting on forgiveness and reconciliation in their own communities, students examine worldwide endeavors in the field of conflict transformation that heal the wounds of entrenched division and war.
